Each generation observes the last generation and uses a phrase where they say, "I don't want to make the same mistakes my parent's generation made." The Apostle Paul wanted his readers to know in the book of Romans that it has to do with conformation and transformation. Evidently, it's possible to conform to the world's way of thinking or be transformed to the mind of Christ.

This is very applicable to the deeply held beliefs we have about our finances. And those beliefs drive the outcomes we have with our money. An Old Testament King by the name of David learned about this in I Chronicles 29.
